Villagrande selected some top accomodations at the historical places Begur, Pals and near surroundings. Both places are situated near the coast practically in the middle of the Costa Brava. They have an interesting and historical centre and offer lots of sport- and excursion possibilities.
Begur is situated on a hill near the ruins from an old castle In Begur the narrow streets with shops and nice restaurants all lead to the central square Placa de la Vila with it's 17th century old church .The centre is a great place to shop, have a drink or to enjoy a good tradiional Spanish meal. There are several traditional bars, nice terraces and good restaurants to find. Also there is a diversity of beautiful bays and small beaches with sand or pebbles to visit from Begur. The more sportive person can choice from several sport activities. Golf, tennis, horseriding, surf and sail all belong to the possiblities.
The authentic place Pals is also situated on a hill and offers spectacular vieuws. At the old centre where you will find tradicional shops where you can have a look at some handcraftworks you fancy being in historical times. In Playa de Pals at 6 km. you will find a lovely wide sandy beach, an 18-holes golfcourse and some nice shops and good restaurants. The houses of Playa de Pals our mostely hidden under the pine trees and situated on certain distance from eachother.
A few kilometres more southward is Palafrgell situated. Except on Sundays because of the market you won't find many tourists. It has an intersesting botanic garden and a gotic church that's woth visiting.
Figueres with its Dalํ museum and the always interesting metropolis Barcelona are easy to visit from both places.
Appartamento Jorell is situated on a quiet place at 1 km. from the centre. It is situated on top of a hill and has therefore a fantastic seavieuw. About 100 m. from the appartment is the house of the owners situated (foto 3, ES 17011). The well maintained garden with play area and swimming pool you share with the owners. The interior of Jorell is modern and comfortable.
